Congrats to Texas A&M for recruiting Marko Baloh to their PhD program where he intends to continue research in microbiology. Predictably, Marko will probably gain an interest in college football and add the phrase “Gig ’em Aggies!” to his verbal repertoire.
Emily, Elsa, Carmen, James, Marko and John attended the 1st Annual EEB Retreat at the Poconos Environmental Education Center.

7/8/2014 — Lab alumni Kevin Mu (’13) is matriculating to the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in the fall of 2014.
Lab alumni Lauren Mordukhaev (’13) will attend the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine in the fall of 2014.
Lab alumni Rachelle Morgenstern (’12) earned a Masters in Public Health from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.

5/26/2014 — Lauren Esposito (’14) was selected for the Biology Department’s prestigious Muriel & Philip Feigelson Award for outstanding achievement in research. Lauren will continue in the lab as a Masters student in the Fall 2014.
