Bacteriophage therapy for the treatment of Mycobacterium tuberculosis infections in humanized mice

In this study we show that Mtb infected mice treated with the bacteriophage DS6A showed increased body weight and improved pulmonary function relative to control mice. This finding suggests that bacteriophages may be an effective therapeutic treatment for Mtb infections.
